Head of People


This is a Full-time position in Palo Alto, CA posted March 26, 2021.

Company is a startup with a mission to provide the world ‘s best healthcare to everyone. Company is hiring a Head of People, Culture, and DE&I. This role will be responsible for setting Company ‘s primary people strategy and working with the CEO and the executive team to create a high performing environment that enables Company to accomplish its goals. This involves oversight of all Company ‘s People Ops processes as well as its culture building, recruiting, benefits administration, and DE&I strategy.

In this role you will:

  • Drive a culture that emphasizes impact/performance and Company ‘s mission of bringing the world ‘s healthcare best to everyone
  • Help drive Company ‘s cultural values into how we hire, operate, retain
  • Lead adjustment of policies and processes to the remote world and think about how to drive culture in an increasingly remote world
  • Develop a strategy for scaling Company ‘s team over the next 18 months including recruiting, onboarding, and talent management
  • Act as a thought partner to the executive team for all People related issues
  • Build and manage the People Ops team to support Company ‘s growth, culture, and operations
  • Chart Company ‘s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy

  • Experience leading people operations including recruiting and HR processes at a high growth company

  • Ability to build, evangelize, and represent Company ‘s culture
  • Thoughts on how to build a successful remote culture
  • Strong emotional intelligence and intuition on people
