PC Support Technician

Nissin Foods

This is a Full-time position in Gardena, CA posted April 8, 2021.

nnThe PC Support Technician will be responsible for Nissin Foods deskside technology connectivity and functionality.

Supports users through service ticket handling, follow-up, training, troubleshooting, and communications.

Expected to install, maintain, and troubleshoot standard computer hardware, software, peripherals, and other approved personal computing devices to ensure that all IT-dependent activities continue to function, while minimizing disruption to clients.nn nn nn nn nn nn Essential Job Functions: The following duties are considered essential to the job.

Qualified individuals must have the ability

– to perform the following duties but not limited to: nn nn nn Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 PRO, and Microsoft Office 365.

Install software, set up and support (desktop, laptop) and all other IT related devices.

Troubleshoot and diagnose standard computer hardware and software (desktop/laptop level).

Respond to IT support requests from clients as related to hardware and software issues via multiple sources, and referred tickets.

Enter call data into the ticket tracking system.

Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.

Communicate updates on issues in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction and productivity.

Seek technical assistance or escalate problems when necessary.

Ensure compliance with IT policies and data consistency.

Update OS and Antivirus on all devices.

Assist local, and remote users such as brokers, sales managers.

(This includes our Pennsylvania locations, and traveling Nissin Foods employees.) Create internal walkthrough videos regarding new software, and software updates for Nissin Foods (USA) Co., Inc.

Assist administration with IT billing and purchase orders for technology purchases, including maintaining a spare parts inventory.

Ensure that old hardware is properly disposed of through the appropriate channels.

Manage department”s hardware and software assets, ensuring equipment and licensed software are tracked and maintained in line with current policies and procedures.

Ensure that information and systems are protected in a manner consistent with Nissin Foods USA Co., Inc.

security policy, procedures, and standards.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.nn nn nn nn Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers.

Should be familiar with various software applications, I.E.

Windows 10 PRO, Microsoft Office 365, and Antivirus software.

General knowledge of networks, and remote access.

Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office, Antivirus software.
